I got this notification as well as the last one, but honestly there are really only two answers:

1) A new platform that has no algorithm whatsoever -- users only see what they search out and subscribe to and, by extension, what the people they subscribe to take it upon themselves to share.

2) Doing what we do without expecting anything in return. Nobody enjoys being a martyr, but trying to get something out of what one does has driven a lot of people crazy. The only good version of "something for nothing" is *giving* something, expecting nothing in return, or at least nothing in this material world.

I doubt Substack will ever embrace the Abolition of Algorithims. For one, their investors would never allow it because the function of algorithims is not to share or support, but to suppress. It is Orwellian language, just like how modern healthcare makes people sick and the justice system punishes victims while protecting criminals. Without algorithms, people would see what they want to see and what the people they subscribe to share -- and people are more and more seeking out what is real, what is good, what is true and beautiful and authentic. The worldly powers that be can't have that.

Moreover, Hamish and co. are repulsive goblins who consider themselves "elite" -- like all the other goblins, truth just shines a light on what they are. And so they use "free speech" as a lure for truth tellers, then box them in algorithmically and isolate them. As many have pointed out, allowing people to *say* the truth is not the same thing as allowing people to *see* the truth. Substack may let you say it, but it's clear they won't let others see it. I.e., "It's a tarp!" -- a quarantine for truth tellers.

And so we're left with the two above options: a new platform founded on the abolition of algorithims OR accept being a lone voice crying in the wilderness, sustained on locusts and wild honey and not expecting anything else from this world.
