The Global Trade War

They got even less than FEMA help.

They got deliberate FEMA hindrance of independent aid.

I’m happy they have access to more help now.

I’m hping there’s a way to recoup some of that international money laundering spend that was ushered through to deliberately drain our coffers.

People should have already realized that deliberately draining the coffers was an act of war.

But they tend not to see it.

Not when it happens in Venezuela.

Not when it happens in Costa Rica.

And certainly not when they get really ballsy and try to make it happen here.

Most can’t fathom actions taken on that grand of a scale.

It’s hard for most to make sense of numbers that big and stakes that high.

And most still believe all the rhetoric and take it for rote.

It’s difficult for most to see even a single level of deception deep, let alone three or four layers.

Factor in all those sacred cows, and it’s just about impossible.

Your Birth Tree….

Good call. You could, like a pet, use the death to describe the life cycle and turn it into a teaching moment. But you’ll have to hope the kid is old enough to have that talk and understand it. Which, I suppose, is always the gamble with a pet too.

You could always find a tree that is about the same age to replace it with as well, and allow the child to choose the tree to honor the tree that’s gone. That could work too.

This is coming from someone whose family utterly failed at this task. I laugh about it now, but at the time, it was thoroughly obnoxious. We moved away from my grandmother and her dog, the dog I grew up with, and he died. Instead of telling me the dog died, they engineered an elaborate five-year ruse in which, each time I visited, the dog was “at the vet.”

Finally, I got sick of them lying to me and erupted that I knew the dog was dead and they needed to stop. But they didn’t. They kind of treat everything difficult to discuss in this manner of conspiring to create elaborate lies and narratives which makes everything even more difficult on the other side of any subsequent discussion you might need to have to unravel that. There’s always something to unpack and examine because all the lies hiding really stupid things that never required any lying at all tend to stack up. It might be part of why I am so fond of simply ripping the Band-Aid off.

And, delving into that even further, it’s perhaps a bit ironic, or maybe it’s more like an origin story, that I am as comfortable with death and the energy forms related to passing as I am. Those energies are a part of who I am and what I do now. And I wouldn’t change it. :)

But yeah - being honest about the life cycle with your kids - I FULLY ENDORSE IT.

No Tamagotchis that fly back to their home planets - I am vehemently against that shit. When they die, it’s because you didn’t feed them and dispose of their poop on time. It’s supposed to teach you - like the digital version of carrying around an egg baby in home ec for days and not breaking it. In the Japanese ones, death was a part of the narrative. The American ones flew back to their home planet when you mistreated them because “American children can’t handle death.”

Gee… I wonder why. LOL.
