As director who has studied music videos since the 80's I just about fell out of my chair laughing at the literal video version of total eclipse of the heart. It's so absolutely spot on. I remember watching so many cheesy music videos and asking "What the hell were they thinking, this doesn't even make any sense". Too funny, can't believe I never stumbled on that one before, thanks for sharing.

Looking at all those video choices, I can see that we have similar tastes in regard to absurdist humour. I love that stuff, the weirder the better. Strongbad, picnicface, weird videos. Did you ever get into Mr Show or Tim and Eric?

Yes!! Same - my sense of humor tends toward the absurd in general. :)

I love both of those. I started jotting things down and before I knew it, there were over 70 videos, and I did this fairly quickly - I went for the ones I quote the most in conversation because they were top of mind, or other pieces that happened to be top of mind recently because people gave them to me or they came up. Other than that, there was no real rhyme or reason to what I chose over anything else.

So I will probably end up making another one at some point. There were just too many!! 🤣🤣

I also couldn't find much of The State on YouTube which was disappointing.

I dabble in my own strange videos, little short commercials for my fake company ‘AbsurdCo’ and weird music videos for songs that are too strange to put on my albums. Stuff like this:

Those INTJs are often eerily on point, and the INFJs, from knowing one. Interesting.

Frank James is an INFJ, so that doesn't surprise me. I always score so weird on those tests. My E/I and my T/F are very balanced, so I end up with 4 sort of mood or situation dependent possibilities.

I took it twice and got INTJ, with years, I think, between, and have been afraid, because I like that one so much, to take it again. Lol, you are living my nightmare. (In terms of being “proven” wrong, again and again.)

I'm definitely an NJ, no question. But my introversion and extroversion are balanced and so are my thinking and feeling. That's not so bad - it doesn't feel like it alters anything because it's exactly who I am. And I think you're getting INTJ over again because that's who you are. And if it moves around, each of those conditions is a spectrum, not a switch. So you might be a bit more in a people mood one day than the next. NBD. It wouldn't change who you are at your core. :)

Yeah, and of course, the real test is caring about what you get. (If you're not that, then why worry?)
