My favorite Willy Wonka line is right at the very end: "Don't forget what happened to the man who suddenly got everything he always wanted. . . . He lived happily ever after." Such an incredible, striking note of optimism. (I saw that you had noted to the post about it that he was a bad guy written by a bad guy, but I love that movie quote. Takes the wind out of the sails of the "You should like not having what you want" people.)
