One of the things I began doing almost fifty years ago was attending science fiction conventions. I also was involved in organizing some. Perhaps if we told people about a gathering of Starfire Code fans (coders?) to be held six months or more from now we could bring together many interesting people "in meat space" and maybe have the keynote speech simulcast on Substackistan? It has the vibration of a good time.
