I awoke from slumber today and thought of an old friend. Would she invest in the new freedom film studio? No, she chose to walk away from her family's enormous wealth and power because they asked her to do something she wouldn't do. She had told me that much more than twenty years ago.
But I was in a very prayerful manner of being today and still in a liminal twilight transition, so I went to the Lord in prayer: what kind of request would a powerful family ask of a young mother that would have her cut off herself and her children from their wealth and power?
And the words came in, "You know what they sacrifice and to what."
It hit me pretty hard. They asked for her eldest child to be sacrificed to the demon they worship. She refused. So she had to walk away from the wealth and power and family connexions.
I know she chose what is right because of who she is. And I am glad for the choice she made because her children are very wise and good. And she never told me about it because they would destroy her for telling.
But it's very hard knowing that there are families that do these terrible things and are extolled as virtuous by the family of the Hanoverian usurpation and so many of the European aristocracy. They ruin so many lives. So many.
I agree with @Jeffrey Webb below. This must be what kids in the early 60s felt the moment they tuned in to a different radio station and heard Dylan coming out of the speakers. If gov't and other institutions are saying it–it ain't to be trusted! That being said...the He-Man meme...8^)
Licensing is when the government steals one of your rights and then RENTS it back to you....with strings attached.
