MEME DROP #313: They’re Orchestrating Events So That You Will Accept Their Solution. Change My Mind.
I lived through a horrific flooding on the island of Kauai, that sent homes down the river to the ocean. five were killed and we were lucky only to live in a 2 story home. but the water was nearly to the second story. The first story was just open, storage and tools, and after the flood, we had cars, trees, dead animals, mud and toxic waste stuck under there. I went in to the office and waited four hours to see Red Cross to get some equipment to clean under the house. I was thinking power washer, even if rented, and other help. I walked out with a check for $25. to buy sponges. !!! It took a week with bulldozers from friends and all kind of equipment to get that filth out. Our neighbor Got his wife and two children out of their home and in the car just moment before their home and all their possessions went to the ocean. they were all in their pajamas and underwear. Nothing else. If they had stayed to collect anything they would be dead. That man came back to help us out of our home that was submerged. Red Cross told him "no" no help as he did not have an ID. It went down the river. When Red Cross came to our road about a month later and saw how bad it was, they met my husband, who was from New York, and he screamed at them in ugly language as new yorkers do.
Red Cross gave others with no damage to their homes two TV sets, and other wired stuff.
On our road, the worse hit, next to nothing. I hate Red Cross and all Big-Box Assistant agencies. They send out volunteers, rarely inspect the damages and there is no vetting of anything, if yo u have an ID.
The times ahead you may find yourself in trouble, rely on your neighbors!! Know your neighbors! Know what they have. Our neighbor had a boat and got us out as the water was still rising. Even the fire department was of little help. 911 hung up on me without asking why I called, My husband called a friend to come help, then a house washed by us and took out all the telephone and electricity lines to our home.
Big agencies are the placebo affect. Do not rely on them. Have plans.
Yes, “everyone knows what is in room 101 …” we are just about there.
