As an aging boomer who is not eating the bullshit, I would change label on the fish with its open mouth to "uncritical millennial/GenZ." Just have to defend my generation! I know lots of my age peers are eating the bullshit, but a whole lot of us are not, and I see a bunch of youngers gulping it down.
"All" is a pretty comprehensive word. I'll admit I was a Dem for a few decades, but left that fold in the 1990s for the Green Party; no longer with them as of before Covid. Have been outside of the two-party dichotomy ever since, and see it as part of the programming to have only two choices. Plus, I no longer see the political system as viable or worth my attention. I've strayed far from both my parents (one a D, the other an R) and my conditioning that voting is a sacred duty.
Sounds like my story, though I'm an "X"-er. The fact that a Massachusettsian would ever stray so far away from Democrathood shows how upside-down/inside-out/upside-right the world has become. Hard to stay grounded. Hmm...wonder if that was what they wanted all along...
Agreed! We were all influenced in our formative years by the hippie philosophy and activities, the counterculture, etc. Yet many boomers are entirely in the mainstream narrative and have been since 1975 or so. Why some of us, of any age, saw through the BS of the past four-plus years and others didn't is a perennial question for me. I just don't see clearly how that worked.
Yeah my uncle was a boomer AND an old hippy …he was a hard core republican and started converting a bunch of his old boomer buddies with common sense…he got a few to switch from the dark side…lol
"Well, I've been afraid of changing...but time makes you bolder...so I climbed a mountain (then) I turned around" - so I guess that's how I came to this place in the middle.
Barbarian compost is only good for flower beds for honey bees for making mead. We can get drunk remembering what being ruled by control freaks was like.
But then too that would probably be enough compost to feed every forest too....
Indeed, yet as I somehow manage to drag myself through day to day existence, I can't get past, or look away from these huge forces of destruction and decay that dash through this society.
It really interesting, from a distance to take all this in, far less so to live it.
Breathtaking. Like waves on the shore one message pounds into the brain after another. Don't know where to begin picking favorites here...choosing the Sowell quote for example means I can't express my appreciation of "not gardening enough" which means I can't voice my seething excitement for the worshipping of the (pagan) bull, etc etc etc

I’m a Boomer too Betsy-born in 1963. I lost my job of 23 years for non-CONvid compliance.
I eat none of the bullshit!
I cannot understand why so many “Boomers” were taken in…seriously. People over 50 should know better…they don’t!
I wish they understood. Sending my love!!
They all loved Kennedy so they stayed dems…I get it 🤷♀️

I agree with your view Betsy! I’m the same way!

Fair enough!! 🤣❤️

Us Booming Hippies need recognition! We were calling out the bullshit first!
Clowns to the left of me, Jokers to the right...
Who's in the middle with me???
NOOO...:
"Little by little, you turn to the middle, but you're never sure why you are here..."–B.D.
8^) – Where does that leave us?

Put the plants wherever they need to go, guerrilla style if you have to....
Also that woman walking through that wild place with those kids was a longing I did not know I had....
So. Many. Barbarians. Managing. The. Matrix.
Well, maybe the barbarians can be kept far away from the woods if we turn them back into spinach green code. 🤣

Skål!
I would use Fauci's noggin, but gross. I'd rather plant flowers in it.
LOL! Chia pet? 🤣🤣🤣
Awesome. Love ya, Queen Memi!! 😘
Love you too!! 🥰
Love these! Thanks, Demi ✨
. . .I wouldn't call it “fun”. . .more of a necessity for a future not built around delusion
I dunno.
I look at these memes, and my thought is, "sheesh, people really get it."
Then I go out my door and and I still see campaign signs for Biden.
Some do. Some don't.

The plants!! It’s a thing, I can’t come back from a walk with cuttings or seeds. Thanks so much.
I love the themes and wanted to say thankyou, as I do not subscribe
Oh yeah, truth is felt 🙏👌💜
What do I do for fun? Read the Starfire Codes!!! One of the many!!! 🤣😘
