As a Christian, my prayers took off bigly once I realized that believing I would receive was the key. Faith that, when God says he will answer your prayer, he does and he will, albeit on His timeline. Either that, or the Bible is a lie, there's nothing in between.
Start with a book called Hands On Healing by Dr. William Bengston. It's a combined healing and manifestation technique. Very ethical, highly effective, and clearly demonstrates the laboratory science behind his ideas.
