I've not paid attention to Biden and the US in 5 years, and even I've noticed he's senile, as has everyone else I talk to even the local Irish-man who cares only about fishing, or the neighbour and his wife who only care about dogs and reading and their lawn know it (I asked them). As you already know, I'm anon to protect my job. Most of my activity over decades on the internet has been anon, amongst other anons, primarily in a gaming setting. (My anonymity in those games and gaming communities was mainly about protecting myself from thirsty males, but it was also about not being automatically condescended to in a male-dominated environment.) The gaming world tends to be its own animal entirely, and I've seen/been exposed to some of the worst of human behavior from those who feel safe in their anonymity. In light of that, I found Coleman's experiment so interesting. (And, once again, he proved how very perceptive he is.) Anyway, I failed that experiment somewhat since he said no quirks, but then replied that what I shared was a cute quirk. *sigh* I think my weirdo cred has diminished. 🤣🤣🤣

Speaking of which, you're probably one of the odd ones out on the anonymity thing, but I share your experience that all of the weirdness went away during the time I was forced into anonymity. I wouldn't have chosen it. And when I started writing, they asked me to do it under a pen name so I could stay. But I was instructed not to. Can't go against guidance.

Random Note: The anonymous people who have something to hide are actually kind of lucky. I can see hyperstition at play here as a major part of the country now believe certain lies as truth, so strongly, counter arguments have no impact. It is one sides new reality. Hopefully not. But it's happened every other time. This was just the first time the general public knew about it. So, I really couldn't say.
