I hope to advance my understanding of the nature of resonance, relative to the laws of attraction. I hear the phrase like attracts like, used by teachers of ancient and cosmic wisdom. This often occurs when discussing the laws of energy in the universe. These laws are based on electromagnetism. The narrative of the like-attracts-like fallacy was stated in the wonderful Tesla video in this article.

Opposites attract, as is explained in the teachings of the Tao, and things that are alike, resonate together, beyond time and space oftentimes.

In my opinion, saying like attracts like is a distortion of the perception, necessary to understand the energy environment our consciousness operates in. As we transmit our goal of more love we can create a greater resonance with love in the universe. We are not attracting it, but rather resonating more fully with it. We appear to be attracting love, but we are actually expanding our resonant capacity for awareness of the energy of greater and greater love in the universe, available in our lives

This love as it is generated and grows in resonant capacity will naturally attract resistance to it. Hatred is emotional resistance at the extreme. These restrictions of natural resistance arise from the creative process, in the circumstances of our lives in the energy environment of the universe we biologically live in. This process requires us to define the quality of love within a natural molecular or social framework that can resonate and function as a unique quality, linked to an even greater quality of love in the energy environment. The turbulence in the creative process, or contention, as Clif High explains on Substack, is a necessary part of the infinity creation machinery, weaving patterns of unique mutational behavior, into the fabric of the universe.
