I appreciate a lot the conversation in this interview about how kids don't even necessarily know that they are experiencing trauma -- and that it can emerge suddenly without them even knowing it's in there.
It's given me more space to reflect on traumatic experiences I had in traditional (abusive programming) schooling and how long it's taken me in my life to be able to recognize how traumatic that really was for me -- and for others around me. Me, my peers, my parents. Even the teachers.
