You don't want to go among mad people, Alice, but you are here, and you wouldn't be here if you weren't mad. There's a few thoughts that you might want to involve in rummaging around in your soul's eternal realm memories. One is, everyone here, every single soul, is here willingly. God doesn't send anyone here without consent. It's a terrible place.

In the Bible, which includes some of the oldest written records we have, Jacob goes up a ladder into heaven, comes back and says, "This place is terrible." So why would he do that?

One of the things to keep in mind is that you are free to come and go as you please. The fact that you don't know how is part of your situation. Enoch lives. Elijah lives. Jesus lives. Abraham lives. God is the living God, the great I AM.

Now, it is absolutely the case that summoning the chariot of fire that carried Elijah into heaven isn't the same as summoning an Uber with your phone app. It involves God's will. If you don't have the algorithm for invoking God's will and getting your ride home, maybe spend more time in prayer.

Another thing to keep in mind is that some tasks require a certain sort of soul. Not everyone is the sort of soul that Jesus is, so not everyone chose to suffer, die, resurrect, and ascend into heaven, while showing his disciples and those around him what it is to be a powerful soul, and that the kingdom of heaven is near unto you if you hear the words he said and do them. The doing them part, that's the part many souls leave out of their cogitations.

Now, today, for the first time in over 14,000 years, we have the opportunity to carry the Gospels to the farthest stars, share the Gospels with every creature, and those that believe may be baptised. In so doing, we fulfil a vast plan of God's creation, we fulfil the great commission given to us by Jesus, and we build a set of cultures that are able to be very good at a great many things. Bring the entire universe alive in a new way and at a whole new level.

That's one of the things for which I am here: translate the Gospels into every language and carry them to the farthest star in every direction and all souls in between.

And I asked for help. And there were other souls that felt an obligation to me.

Some of you believe you have lived past lives. A very good friend of mine believes that I was with him at Masada when the Romans came. And there is a spiritual aspect of correctness to that story, but it isn't a story of reincarnation. I wasn't there in a human body. But he and I have a very strong connexion. I can be driving into his neighbourhood way out of sight and he'll say to his wife, "Jim's here." It is what it is, and it is not what it isn't.

Time is not what people think it is, which drives a lot of the things we think we know about reality. In order to have the ability for space systems to be built and advanced, we adopted at the time of da Vinci (who came a bit before Galileo and was "read in" to some of the strange technologies of the ancient past) based on subdividing time to about one heart beat being about one second. Time is not the advancing clock events, it is not 60 cycles per second electric current flow, it is not the signals from atomic clocks in half-geo-synch orbit on NAVstar global positioning satellites, and it is not at all what people think it is. Time as it is used in science and technology is an artificial construct which is useful to making things work.

Metronomes are used to keep time in music. Is the music metronomic? No, it is not. The metronome isn't imposing itself on the music, the music is being created in connexion to the metronome's time keeping, or beat keeping. The great drummers can keep a beat for hours. But they can also riff ecstatically without the beat, and "go off" and have a drum solo, and that's part of the joy of drumming, and of being in the presence of a great drummer. The drum "trap" allows the drummer to keep a beat, hit lots of different gongs and snares and skins, and is only a trap to the extent that the drummer stays within its confines. But it is not a trap in the way that a wild animal chews off its own foot to get loose. Time is like these things, and unlike these things.

God is outside of time. God created the heavens and the earthly realm, and time is an artificial construct we've imposed on our experiences in order to more rigorously study time. But prophecies and channelled messages bring us information from another realm and appear to foretell events. The idea of a single channel of reality and a "time shield" and a time patrol of "time cops" (ew) running around protecting the sequence of events is dealt with in the fiction of Poul Anderson and others, but it isn't all that clever. Because there is no shield of time, there is no vast unchanging sequence of events. There is only a convenience of the current milieu which allows us to better understand certain physical processes.

My friend Steven Berger writes a substack in which he points out that the lessons Jesus teaches include the fact that the physical constraints of natural laws are only very loosely binding us. You can walk on water, you can ascend into the sky, you can feed the multitudes with a small number of loaves, and you can heal the sick by asking God to repair the soul in heaven.

You are not in the reality, you are in the looking glass. You are not in heaven, you are in the earthly realm. Heaven is "dominant" in the sense that it is "as above, so below" and not the other way around. You don't force changes in the eternal realm because you aren't operating in the eternal realm in the things you do here. You can change things in the eternal realm through the power of the Holy Spirit, which is an aspect of God, the great I AM. What does that mean, I AM? It means, God is exactly all the things God is, all the things God needs to be, all the things God has ever been. God is existence would be a way of saying it. None of it really works linguistically because your language has conjugations based on tense, and there are no tenses in the eternal realm - there is no past pluperfect, there is no future imperfect, there is no subjunctive. There is, and there is not. I'm saying this poorly. The eternal language can make references to tenses and conjugation, just as it can make references to gender conjugation, and other aspects of what we are told to believe is reality, but those things aren't applicable in the same way there as they are here. And there is not separated from us by clouds and orbits and galactic nebulae, it is very nearby in other dimensions. Yet there is a vast wilderness between here and there - you can travel across that wilderness but you have to know the way, and you need to be serving God.

What if you owed someone a great debt, a soul debt? Then you might come to do certain things here, in a certain form, with certain limitations chosen by you. You don't have to agree to a blanket consent - you can come here under certain strictures of your choosing. Don't want to have children? Choose a life without offspring as the condition of your presence. Don't want to be awake 24 hours a day 7 days a week until you have a psychotic break? Sleep. Reconnect to your soul in the eternal realm in the ways of sleepers which is different from the ways of those awake.

Final thought: It doesn't have to be a terrible place. It can be beautiful. People are capable of creating great beauty as well as terrible horrors. People have built vast cathedrals, beautiful paintings, amazing symphonies, incredible harmonies, vast stories. Demons don't love any of those things, and want to tear us down, want to destroy us for being here. So we are engaged in a battle of good against evil. But the wars are going to end very soon, and many more things will be not only possible, but much easier.

In several of his later books, Robert Heinlein postulated that every narrative we tell in fiction is another reality somewhere in the vastness of the multiverse. So treat your characters well, or you may find out one of them is being the author of your current story line. And that would mean you need to untangle a deeply intricate series of multidimensional knot topologies. It is said that Mother Mary is the one who is best at untangling many strands of thread. Ora pro nobis.

Yakno, one would THINK (Remember that? It was what people used to do before...nevermind...) that I would have learned by now to NEVER, EVER attempt to enjoy my coffee (a misleading wurd. Think more melted roofing tar) and read these posts from you.

You'd think that, but, you'd be wrong. Once more, I find my desk, PS3, lap (and underlying anatomy) soaked with the thick, oozey, scalding substance. I mean, Jayzus! It even sprayed the wall 8 feet away, covering my poster of Adrienne Barbeau, who now seems to have a horrid, dark discharge emerging from her ample ink and paper bosom (ignore those other stains). Quite distressing, I must say.

It becomes obvious you have willfully chosen to ignore the 'Cease and Desist' order I scrawled (in purple crayon, no less) on your toilet lid. Therefore, I am appealing to your basic sense of humanity.

Please. I just want to enjoy my coffee and not have it travel across the room.

As always, I can be contacted at the State Asylum.
