I found the discussion very listenable. It is interesting listening to Alexander and you discuss the process of, what I call, cleaning up mental pathways. And having a fine-tuned awareness on oneself and others. And using love as a psychological theme. It reminds me of the lens I use, most everything I translate through my knowledge and experience of art. For instance if someone suggests a foreign principle, when I translate that through art I can sense it works or probably doesn't work.

Thank you so much. I agree - being tuned in and self-aware drastically impacts the ability to switch among lenses and perspectives and to see and then communicate in ways others wouldn't. I would think that, as a visual artist communicating using a single moment in time as the medium, that being able to shift among these perspectives and lenses would be crucial to tapping into what others are going to feel when they view your piece so that you can evoke the intended emotional response.
