So many good ones, my eyes stopped on the stray cat one with the ginger tabby who looks a lot like our Squeaky. Our home is on a ranch and we have 14 stray kids who just love it here. We must offer a good place. That makes me happy. 😊🥰
We need more people who think like this, period. :)
If by "changed everything," you really mean "raised awareness of domestic methods of regime change which are similar to foreign methods of regime change," then yes.
Yes, they openly stole an election, parked troops in our nation’s capitol, installed barricades around the people’s house, and locked up political prisoners in the DC gulag. And suffered no repercussions. They openly put the screws to us every day, they don’t even try and hide it anymore. So yes, 2020 changed everything.
Jorn, laughing, as I am a sprinter by temperament...but I have gotten myself into too many "jams" over my 71 years, by sprinting without some consideration. I am not 12 or 21 or even 30 anymore and I do not just do "reckless abandon", based on my disasters of the past from doing just that! Live and learn, I say, from rueful experience! Moments of the impetuous at infrequent times but mostly a slower and considered pace for me.
Ah, but with time grows wisdom. Which would make what I suggested even safer as you understand perils. The ledge is onl as dangerous and narrow as you allow it. Remember that you reshape your reality in conformity of YOUR will Not the inverse. But I do understand your stance.
Jorn, I appreciate your measured feedback on this subject of "narrow ledges" and leaping off such. I do understand that as people get older, they tend to be more cautious, based on the visceral experiences of life. I will remain open to learn but I will not use my hard-won wisdom, forged in the school of hard knocks, to make leaps that will bring further adversaries into my life. Quiet considerations, yes and I do listen deeply for Holy Spirit's still small voice and He never leads me wrong. My will is walking to the best of my humble ability, with the will of Him Who made me. Blessings to you, Jorn.
Wendy, I totally understand, but as I have gotten older at least in my microcosm, playing it safe isn’t the way to be. I did that for many years and what it got me was a lot of scorn from others as well as being used by others as I was a very altruistic person. It’s part of my being as I am highly Nordic by blood. The rest being Irish, so might as well be Nordic. I Oso wasn’t able to develop spiritually which took a great deal of introspection. The answer is to grab my life and take command and enjoy the ride. God or bad outcomes. At least my having taken an active role meant more than dealing with whatever comes my way.
At last no the gods don’t continue to throw hardships constantly.
Jorn, bless you! You are a highly intelligent person and I have great respect for the Nordic cultures. I likely have Irish in my own background, as a natural redhead. As a woman of God and follower of Jesus Christ, I partner with God for the road of life while here on Earth and into Eternity when I leave this place. As for risks, I am lucky to even be alive! I watched multiple dear men friends in my youth, die of AIDS and I could easily have died of the same, as I was not "safe" and not remotely circumspect. As for my "blunt" temperament, I still have it but have had to learn to temper my temper and pick my battles more wisely. I do not "play it safe" (hence the name of my Substack, "a blunt Oregon girl") but I do use the experiences I have had to steer my boat away from the jagged shoals. God is my guide and Advocate and I trust Him with my life. He and His Son are the ultlimate warriors! Please take good care, Jorn! You are greatly valued and needed in this world. With sincere and humble respect, Wendy

🤣🤣 stares Tuckerly.
Good goddess, we need more women who think like this.
But an aside, when I hear people say voting doesn't change anything, I be like, 2020 changed everything.

I always read all of your memes. I understand some of them, take a screenshot of some of them, and overall enjoy viewing them.
Thanks!
TBH, i watch a lot of movies and TV series, usually American ones. It's my only addiction😂😂
Gold!!! Thanks Demi!! 😂
I can certainly relate to this…and yet it is a dangerous and very narrow ledge to walk.
That’s when you need o sprint on ye ledge with reckless abandon.
