It is everything I have written about in my latest book Humanistry. So I tip my hat to Starcodes. The question now if you accept this an individual where do you go and how do you interact with others and the greater world.

Brilliant stuff as usual but this time I have to add something: one of the videos in there was about the National Park in Turkey known as Mount Nemrut, a place many note in the comments is supported by insidious and powerful organizations. They have a right to be suspicious. But what the video does not mention is that there is another, far older Mount Nemrut in Eastern Turkey that no one pays any attention to. Its crater can be seen from space. The fact that the latter is the spot where Greek mythology collides with the Old Testament, AND where Sanskrit and some striking similarities to the Hindu Shiva were first generated, should tell all of us that we should be spending a lot more time here than anywhere else. Nemrut is noticeably similar to the biblical Nimrod, but you won't figure out the significance of this, and you'll never understand the roots of tyranny, anywhere else but on the western shore of Lake Van.

I often find myself wondering, when I listen to people like Donald Hoffman, and others who pontificate that this world is an illusion, exactly what they mean by saying this.

For example, Hoffman's idea ostensibly stems from an application of Game Theory. Okay, well who says that Game Theory is really applicable? I mean you can use a screwdriver as a hammer. It will eventually drive in the fastener, but this certainly does not mean that a screwdriver actually is a hammer. So, is Game Theory really the bomb? Several things make me question this premise.

Oh, but you say, Hinduism is all about this world being illusion!

No, it really isn't. Hinduism is saying that this reality is resultant only, and that as a resultant reality it isn't the motive force for itself. I've never heard any Hindu assert, for example, to stop breathing because this shit ain't real.

People also get all fired up about Gnosticism saying something similar, but they are getting all caught up in specific definitions related to a world view that simply cannot accommodate finer thought.

I am getting to the point where I wish people would stop saying the world is an illusion, because its really a bullshit statement. I wish people would start saying stuff like, "guys, this isn't the ultimate reality", or "listen people, this place is here because of all these incredible forces", or even "folks, we actually don't have a clue as what reality really is, so keep in mind, when you bust a knuckle trying to change your air filter, the owee moment, and the blood and pain is absolutely 100% genuine".

I think one of these approaches, or something similar, would go a long way towards reducing mental illness.

Lot's of good content here - definitely seeing more of CCRU coming into the popular conscience. There's a a lot to unpack there. I'd love to see your thoughts on the underlying themes behind all of that content you present.

I've been talking about hyperstition and accelerationism quite a lot in The Scroll series, if you follow that one. That's the best way to find my most current thoughts on topics like these.
