Thank you Demi for reminding me of the sweet sounds of Carole King coming out of our old stereo console in the late 60's as we were embracing American music in our new homeland. Way Over Yonder was an anthem in my childhood ✨ I have her on as I type... ox
...and Corazon is on right now! Here we were British immigrants in Arleta, Pacoima, the heart of the San Fernando Valley, learning about low-rider cars driving by and "heart my heart, I love you my heart," from Carole King! One of my favorite shows on Broadway! Did you see it?
Oh yesss! How cool! So much history in these places! My dad's side were Gunn's. We have a deep history in Dunmow. Believed to be one of the oldest living Roman villages. My second story here is a bit about it. Did you write any stories about your family history in England?
We had glorious sunshine yesterday but I missed it while indoors reading the last chapter of the latest book. It's about this fascinating investigation into toxic chemicals on our clothes and furnishings. Today the rain has returned but no surrprises. It is in time to destroy our local farming community. City dwellers, pen pushers, who do not understand Human Ecology. 🌺Yvonne
Great messages. Just what’s needed this morning!! Thanks, Demi❤️
Yes. As you may know, there is a yoga practice to enable us to powerfully beam emotional states. Beam, joy, delight, … ‘color’ your environment. https://dianekern.substack.com/p/and-nowthe-strings

I haven't, no. What part of England are you from? My family is from England too.
Oh wow. Yes, I'm from Southend!
Cool! I have friends from there! My family was mainly in Great Yarmouth (Cyprus prior), Billericay, and East End.
