Embrace your shadow self. The destiny you seek can be yours if you are able to conquer your fear. The moon often represents what is hidden from you; however, in this context, if you are focused on working with the energies of the lunar cycles and using them to your advantage, you will be able to create abundance. If you are called to do so, you might want to look into the red moon and white moon cycles and the various lunar goddesses, as well as the energies of the virgin, the mother, and the crone. The receptive lunar energies you embody will draw other caring people into your life who are supposed to be there.
As you learn how to do this, you will connect with your counterpart, and your energies, as you each reach the end of a time of great burden, will be deeply healing to each other. You will be a source of inner strength to one another and you will teach and learn from each other. As doors open for you, you will enjoy the journey together of creating happiness and abundance surrounded by your family, friends, loved ones, and guides. Your commitment deepens and you hold on tightly to your love, creating strategies together that will aid you in surviving a world of oppressive institutions.
I want to call attention to the tarot artwork here because it paints a richer picture of what is going on. While the Seven of Swords looks like it’s blocking the entrance to the underworld, the energy of this Lovers card next to the Hierophant, often called the Psychopomp in older decks, is reminding me of the scene in Legend where Lili (Mia Sara), representing a sort of Persephone figure, dances with a dress sent to her by Darkness (Tim Curry as the Devil) in Darkness’s underworld lair. As Lili dances with the dress, which represents her shadow self, she embraces the shadow and the two aspects of Lili merge into a single persona.
This tells me that you will need to do some shadow work, but it doesn’t feel like your usual shadow work. You will find that your shadow and your partner’s shadow are locked into a sort of dance of complementary energies. The interplay of these complementary energies causes the two of you to have an epiphany that rises from the depths of your subconscious.
The way in which this manifests will be different for all of you, but letting your partner see your authentic shadow side is going to be very important here. You are a deep source of liberation to each other and this shadow world that you enter together is part of the way that you manage to evade oppression. The truth of what emerges unlocks your destiny.
