What they teach us in history? Not just in school did they teach us about our western history, featuring crude architecture and wooden sidewalks, but they also taught us this narrative through TV shows like Bonanza and all the western movies and novels. Even Disneyland promoted this history. I’m not sure if this display is still showing but I remember when I was a kid about four years old at Disneyland on the Mark twain boat and seeing Indians killing westerners in a play on that island. As a four year old it was a traumatic and I’ll always remember it. Disney promoting the western story and demonizing Native Americans at the same time.
As an editor by trade, I can really relate to the one about rewriting history with poor spelling and no punctuation! I am very familiar with the look on that guy’s face!
