I have been hearing the neighborhood hawks this week. They were pretty quiet over the winter. I’m always reassured by him and his brother/sister because most hawks don’t make it to adulthood these days for lack of food. There were three, now there are two. Their call is so distinctive, and as I said, reassuring to me.
